Ardecheadventures.com is an English speaking multi activity holiday company conceived by Mike Smith and Phil Gasson running adventure holidays for schools and families here in the Ardeche region in the South of France..

Although there are well established activity holiday companies here in the Ardeche providing programmers for schools. Our approach is more bespoke. Our program reinforces the importance of learning outside the classroom, incorporating language, geography, history, PE, citizenship, creativity, individual and collective responsibility and social skills.

We are a new company with a high level of experience both in providing activity programs for groups especially within education. Although some of the activities may be instructed by French monitors all activities will be supervised by UK instructors at all time.

We believe that our company has the advantage of being able to work with party leaders to produce an activity package that recognizes curriculum needs and learning. We also have a depth of experience within education which helps us to complement the work carried out in schools.

We are personally involved from the initial contact with the party leader all the way to the activities, giving continuity as well as quality of service!  This is what we believe makes us different.
 
We both live here in the Ardeche and this is our company. The reason we have started Ardeche Adventures at this stage in our lives is because we believe passionately that providing these well structured opportunities is an essential and invaluable experience for any young person, regardless of their situation.
 
I think it is important to point out that we ourselves are a product, and proof, of the impact that activities outside of the classroom can have on a young person.
