Ardeche Adventures are in the unique position of being able to provide hand-tailored, bespoke and exclusive multi-activity holidays for schools.

Your Schools holiday will be managed and organized entirely by us from initial contact with party leaders all the way to being there with you and your group on the river.

The activities included in our school adventure holiday comprise a three-day canoeing descent of the Ardèche Gorge with overnight under-the-stars bivouac, high ropes, climbing, bouldering and abseiling.

As well as the physical challenges of the activities which encourage bonding and learning, the experience also gives the pupils an opportunity to experience local French culture, food, geology, natural history, and, of course, the French language.

From our safety and instruction through to meals, we realise the importance of professionalism and quality. All our food is sourced fresh and locally and prepared with nutrition in mind.

We come from teaching backgrounds and are well aware of the importance of social and emotional aspects of learning; we believe that children need positive role models and that our adventure holidays promote positive behaviour and effective learning.
